Windows and Walls

We have windows and walls!

The walls, windows and roof are up! Last night we walked through the house. It was fun to imagine us living there. Only one slip up so far - there is a wall between the kitchen and the pantry. Not sure I would want to walk around through the living room and dining room every time I needed in the pantry :)

Here is a view of the back of the house. We're going to have a big backyard.

The Frame is Complete

The frame is now complete. It's a real house! So much fun to look at :) We took some pictures of the house from Nutty Brown road and you can see the roof top. The lot is on the corner of two cul-de-sac streets. Perfect for the kids.

Frame

The frame is going up. So far we can see the first floor. Here is a picture from the front. See our address is 101!

Craig is determined to drive by every other day... I just don't want the new neighbors to think we're psycho... yet.

Casarones

For Easter this year we celebrated at our house. Our little house. We hosted Todd, Caroline and their friend Mari. It was a tight fit around the table, but very cozy. After our brunch, Thomas had a surprise in store for our guests.

Out on the deck the fun began... Casarones! For those of you not familiar with casarones, they are colorful eggs filled with confetti. They are broken over the head for good luck. We had about four dozen eggs to play with this year. Everyone joined in on the fun, even Cole!
